One of Wales' premier attractions, Pembrey Country Park is located at the southern end of the peninsula giving easy access to the beach and forest areas. Spend the day here and take advantage of attractions on offer such as skiing, tobogganing, crazy golf, walking trails, children's adventure play area, cycle hire, miniature railway, conservation areas, visitor centre, cafe and restaurant. There's also a caravan and camping park (Best Campsite Award, South West Wales Tourism 2025).

Pembrey Forest has a number of waymarked forest trails, this sand dune forest is managed by Resources Wales and most routes start from Pembrey Country Park. Horse riding is permitted with an equine permit from Pembrey Conservation Trust.

Along the A484, north west, just 10 mins from Pembrey Country Park you'll find Pembrey motor racing circuit. Known as the Welsh Motor Sports Centre, Pembrey Circuit has a full calendar of race meetings throughout the year including truck, car and bike racing.
