Take a relaxing stroll around this 24 acre wooded parkland, keep the children busy in the play area or sit outside the mansion house gift shop and have a coffee. The perfect place to spend an afternoon, weather permitting!

The mansion house, formerly known as Brynycaerau Castle, was once owned by wealthy local families and had undergone building additions and reconstructions from the mid 1800s. In 1912 the estate was opened as a museum and gardens for the public to enjoy.

The museum houses artefacts relating to local history. Of note, are some examples of Llanelly Pottery, which began production of ceramics in 1839 and continued until the 1920s. There's also a fine collection paintings by Welsh artists adorning the walls throughout the building.
