YOU ARE HERE: HOME KILVEY HILL, SWANSEA
This is one of Swansea's most distinctive landmarks, providing community woodlands, wildlife and stunning walking routes. Just a short distance from the City Centre, with easy access points and free parking.
A network of trails wind their way through the community woodland, heathland and meadows giving the opportunity for people of all ages to explore the natural landscape (keep an eye out for the 'Green Man' sculpture!). The woodland supports a range of wildlife species including peregrines, ravens, linnets, butterflies and a host of insects, mammals and plantlife.
Kilvey's greatest attraction (and well worth the climb), is the incredible views you get from the summit. Look to the east across the golden Swansea Bay coastline and south, towards the old dockland area and beyond. On a clear day you may even be able to spot the Devon coastline!
Coming in 2028 is the 'Skyline Swansea' development which will create an accessible cable car right up to the summit, giving people of all abilities the chance to enjoy the spectacular views. Also included will be a children's play ground, sky swing, restaurant, mountain bike trails and a karting track.
One of the most stunning viewpoints in Swansea.
